What our customers say

Very tasty and substantial meal with good lamb mince with tasty sauce and substantial mash - as in mash that doesn’t run off your fork like some precooked meals. This has a good lamb taste, not too strong but enough herbs etc to be interesting. And a very good price considering all the work that goes into it, the high price of lamb and that the producer gets nowhere near the retail price. How they produce such consistently good meals, I don’t know.

This product is excellent. A convenience meal it might be, but it tastes just like old-fashioned homemade food, using great quality ingredients. Although on the expensive side, it is a good substitute for a homemade meal and the portion sizes are just right. Also, I love the whole packaging being completely recyclable. Obviously, a lot of thought went into greatly minimising one's impact on the planet when devising this product. Well done Charlie Bigham!

This is a very good substitute for a homemade Shepherds’ Pie, I buy this when I don’t have time to make one as it’s a family favourite. The main reason my son likes it is because it has “proper potato” on it, like it’s been mashed with a masher and not super smooth and piped on as are other makes of shepherds’ pie.

I have eaten a ridiculous amount of Charlie Bigham dishes and no complaints at all. But.....this shepherd’s pie is simply the best! I don't know how this recipe came about; I don't know what magical extra ingredients are in this that are not mentioned in the packaging but it's delicious

I’m always looking for ways to make everything we do even better, so if you have any ideas, I’d love to hear what you think.
