What makes this dish different

We take pride in testing our recipes until they’re just right. That's how we found the perfect balance of pork and beef for our slow-cooked ragu, and how we discovered the exact red wine that with a dash of balsamic vinegar of Modena, makes this dish delicious. With an extra layer of creamy bechamel hidden amongst the five layers of egg pasta, there’s a lot that goes into our much-loved Lasagne.

How to cook

For One

Preheat your oven to 220°C/200°C fan/gas mark 6. Please don't grill!

  1. Pre-heat oven. Remove the film but leave the lasagne in its wooden tray.
  2. Place on a baking tray in the centre of the oven (away from any element or flame) and cook for 30 mins.
  3. Leave to stand for 2 mins before serving. Make sure it's piping hot.

This recipe includes some raw ingredients and isn’t suitable for microwaving. If frozen, defrost thoroughly before cooking.

For Two

Ragu (tomatoes, red wine (sulphites), beef (10%), pork (7%), smoked bacon (6%) (pork, salt, preservatives: sodium nitrate, sodium nitrite, potassium nitrate, antioxidant: sodium ascorbate), carrots, onions, tomato purée, celery, cornflour, Parmigiano Reggiano (milk), garlic, salt, rapeseed oil, black pepper, porcini mushroom powder, oregano); Béchamel (milk, Cheddar cheese (milk), double cream (milk), flour (wheat flour, calcium carbonate, iron, niacin, thiamin), butter (milk), cornflour, salt, white pepper); Pasta (durum wheat semolina, water, free- range egg), Cheddar cheese (milk), parsley.
